RAYMOND AUGUSTIN "RAY" ROY March 15, 1918 - November 29, 2003 On Saturday November 29, 2003 at the Desalaberry District Health Centre, Raymond Roy, aged 85, of St. Pierre Jolys, went to his eternal rest after an extended illness. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Jacqueline (nee Prefontaine) one daughter Lucienne and Ken Green of Iles Des Chenes, and children, Jackie and Alain Comeault, Joelle, Melanie; two sons, Rex and Joyce Roy of Vancouver, BC, Larry and Gisele Roy of Winnipeg; one sister Rita Marquis; two brothers, Gerard and Philippe Roy all from St. Pierre, and their families. He was predeceased by one sister Olive Desaulniers and by one brother Roger Roy. Cremation has taken place. Prayers will be said at 1:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2:00 p.m. at St. Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Fr. Benjamin Kazadishadani officiating. Inurnment will take place at the Glen Lawn Columbarium, Winnipeg, at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
